Description

Our Digestion tea is a type of herbal tea that is specifically formulated to aid in digestion and alleviate digestive discomfort. It is made from a blend of herbs and spices that have traditionally been used for their digestive properties.  Digestion tea is typically consumed after a meal to aid in digestion and alleviate any discomfort or bloating. It can also be consumed throughout the day as needed to support overall digestive health.



Key Ingredients

Dandelion-A mild diuretic and digestive aid.  It detoxifies the liver and supports overall liver health.  It may decrease high blood pressure by ridding the body of excess fluid.

Fennel-A digestive aid that can relieve gas and improve sluggish appetite

Ginger-Dried ginger is more biting and intense.

Peppermint-May relieve gas and aid in digestion.  Good for stomach pain and is antibacterial.

Spearmint-Spearmint is known to soothe digestive issues such as nausea, bloating, and indigestion. It can also help relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal disorders.

Chamomile-Good for digestion and a rich source of antioxidants.  Also has a relaxing effect on the body. Known for its calming properties and ability to reduce inflammation in the digestive tract.

 

Preparation

Scoop 1 to 3 tablespoons of dried herbs into a tea strainer placed in your teapot or mug.  Heat water until it just comes to a boil.  Pour hot water over herbs to submerge them and cover to help hold in any volatile oils.  Steep for 15 minutes to 1 hour and strain. 

 

Storage
Keep in a cool dark place
Use within 8 months
